Peer Support

When a member is diagnosed with occupational cancer, he/she can be matched with a peer mentor who has experienced a similar diagnosis through the Boston Fire Cancer Foundation. This mentorship is to support members with the physical and emotional challenges that can seem insurmountable with a cancer diagnosis.
